Leon Edwards defeated Kamaru Usman in a trilogy

Tonight in London in the main event of UFC 286, the organization’s welterweight champion Leon Edwards successfully defended his title in the third confrontation with former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, having spent all five rounds with him in the cage.

The first half of the fight was for Edwards, where he was great with his feet, bringing haikiki to the target and knees to the head of Usman, while Kamaru recorded several takedowns and active pressing, but this pressing was too monotonous. In the third round, Usman tried to find luck on the ground, from where Edwards tried with all his might to get out and used illegal techniques (grabbing the net with his hands), for which the referee deducted one point from him.

In the final two rounds, the picture did not change much and this was enough for Edwards to convince the judges: (48-46, 48-46, 47-47) in favor of Edwards.
