The Swiss start-up Swiss-Mile is young, but it has already caught the eye of a giant. As part of its $20 million fundraising, this robot designer welcomes to its capital Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, a program set up by the American group to finance innovative technological projects to the tune of 1 billion dollars, as well as Bezos Expeditions, the company that manages the personal investments of Jeff Bezos, the founder of the e-commerce giant.

This support from the American billionaire has allowed Swiss-Mile to attract HongShan, a venture capital firm based in Hong Kong, and the Swiss Armada Investment. This fundraising values Swiss-Mile at $100 million. Founded in April 2023 in Zurich, it specializes in the development of AI-boosted robots. Its two main achievements are a “robotic mule” and a “robotic guard dog”, both mounted on wheels and used for transport and surveillance activities.
