A LG is the first major brand to announce that it will implement the AirPlay in your lines of TVs for hotels. The feature, which was announced by Apple at WWDC23, will allow users to easily connect their devices to these establishments with total convenience and security.

In a press release, the American division of the South Korean brand promised to bring AirPlay to the next TVs LG Pro:Centric Smart Hotel already this year – which means that the company is working with Apple aiming at integration, since the novelty should only be released with the launch of iOS 17 (in mid-September).

With AirPlay for hotel TVs, remember, users will be able to connect an iPhone to a TV by simply scanning a QR code. The feature will arrive first for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) hotels, but should soon be expanded to other hotel chains.

Michael Kosla, an executive at LG Business Solutions USA, labeled the service as “a huge step forward” and highlighted the convenience it will bring to Apple device owners – which will give guests an experience that is different from competing hotels.

And everything indicates that it will not be just TVs from the aforementioned line that will gain support for the feature, as the company has promised to add it to other models launched recently as well. We will follow.
