Lion climbed to the top after Anil Kumble

After winning the first two Tests, India lost on the third day of the third Test. That too with a gap of 9 wickets.

Basically, India has fallen to a Nathan Lion. He took 11 wickets in two innings. Among them 3 in the first innings and 8 in the second innings. Lions are also the man of the match.

Along with that, Border topped the list of highest wicket takers in the Gavaskar Trophy. He left behind Anil Kumble in this journey. In the 27-year history of this trophy, Lions have taken a total of 112 wickets. He hunted this wicket in 46 innings in 25 matches.

Kumble was at the top with 111 wickets in this trophy which started from 1996. He took 111 wickets in 38 innings in 20 matches. In the Indore Test, Lion overtook him by taking 11 wickets. He is Australia’s most successful spinner in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in terms of wickets.

Ravichandran Ashwin is third in the list of highest wicket takers with 108 wickets. Harbhajan Singh is fourth with 95 wickets and Ravindra Jadeja is fifth with 84 wickets.
