Klopp had renewed his contract with the English club during the past few days for an additional two years, to continue his career with the Reds until at least 2026.
Milner: Klopp’s continuation is good for Liverpool
Milner said, in remarks quoted by Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper,: “Extension of Klopp’s contract? Of course we are happy, it was amazing to be here from the start when he came to the club and led the process step by step.”
He continued, “Klopp has done well and the more he continues, it will be in the interest of the club.” He added: “We were lucky enough to win the championship this year, but if we do not win anything else, it will be an average season for the club.”

Liverpool is competing for the English Premier League with Manchester City, and is close to qualifying for the Champions League final, as well as qualifying for the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
Klopp took over the technical responsibility of Liverpool FC in 2015, and led the team in 372 matches, winning 233 of them, drawing 77, and losing 62.
With Liverpool, Klopp won the English Premier League, the Champions League, the European Super, as well as the Club World Cup and the League Cup.
