Baghdad / Obelisk: An English press report stated that there is a desire among the owners of Liverpool, “Fenway Sports Group”, to sell the club completely.
The “Fenway Sports” group welcomed the sale of the club’s assets, but there was no confirmation regarding the formula of the deal.
According to the British newspaper “The Telegraph”, the owners of Liverpool are looking to sell the entire club, and offers are expected to arrive within the next month.
The newspaper stated that the group was expected to sell the club at the end of 2023, but it seems that things will go more quickly.
Liverpool has been suffering recently on the technical level, as the team’s results declined, and its ranking fell to eighth place in the Premier League standings table.
