Fulham mightn’t beat Liverpool in the semi-finals of the League Cup

The leader of the English Premier League failed to beat London Fulham in the return match.

Liverpool became the second finalist of the English League Cup. As part of the return match, the team met Fulham on a foreign field.

This match did not stand out with a particularly large number of moments. The “Reds” seized the initiative from the first seconds and distinguished themselves in the 11th minute thanks to the efforts of Luis Diaz.

The Londoners were able to recover only at the end of the meeting thanks to the goal of center back Issa Diop. A 1:1 draw, which allowed Klopp’s men to reach the final, where they will face another London team, Chelsea. It will be recalled that the “blues” previously defeated Middlesbrough.
