Logan Sargent selects “2” for F1 career fixed car number[F1-Gate.com]

Logan Sargent has chosen “2” as the fixed car number to use in his F1 career starting with Williams from 2023.

25-year-old Logan Sargent, who fulfilled the conditions for the F1 Super License by finishing fourth in the FIA-F2 Championship this season, the top rookie, will become the first American F1 driver since 2015 to join Williams in 2023. Makes F1 debut.

“I had run that number before in Formula Renault and had a pretty good season that year,” explained Logan Sargent.

“The number three is my number, but it was taken, so I thought why not use my past win number in F1.”

In the aforementioned 2018 Formula Renault Eurocup, Logan Sargent took three wins and finished 3rd in the ranking before stepping up to FIA-F2.
