Loggi must compete directly with Correios after launching a new delivery service for individuals. Known as Loggi Fácil, the novelty was announced this Tuesday and should have some important differentials.
According to the logistics company, the service is already available in São Paulo, Guarulhos, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Campinas, Ribeirão Preto and Londrina, and throughout the year it will be expanded to other cities.
With Loggi Fácil, the customer does not need to go to a physical branch of the company or buy packaging. Everything will be done through the application, and the package is picked up at the customer’s home. In addition, the process of packaging the product will also be done by Loggi.
Commenting on the matter, Grégoire Balasko, vice-president of Loggi, told Estadão that the new service should contrast with the traditional ritual of sending a package through the Post Office.
Brazil has great potential. Some surveys show that in other countries the annual average of shipments per person is 65 packages per year. In Brazil, this number is 6.
The executive does not talk about the direct dispute with the Post Office, since Loggi has a partnership with the state-owned company on some routes.
Anyway, Loggi Fácil is the company’s biggest bet in 2023. The expectation is that up to 1 million packages will be handled per day.
