Lokomotiv forward Artem Dzyuba got into a fight with his teammates Sergei Pinyaev after the 14th round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Spartak (1:1). About it reports journalist Ivan Karpov.

“During the game, Dzyuba pushed Pinyaeva for several unsuccessful actions in a row. The misunderstanding between the players was resolved on the same day, and Dzyuba and Pinyaev both started for the next match against Akhmat (2:1),” Karpov wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the source, Lokomotiv general director Vladimir Leonchenko learned about the conflict between the players, which led to a showdown with the team’s head coach Mikhail Galaktionov.
“The conflict sounded loud, and Leonchenko found out about it. He and Galaktionov had a conversation in one of the neighboring rooms, where the general director yelled at the coach, which was also heard by outsiders. The complaint was that Mikhalych lost the locker room because of Dziuba and why did he even put him in the squad. The coach responded by reminding Leonchenko who scored the goal against Spartak and brought Miranchuk one-on-one when Khlusevich got the red one,” Karpov wrote.
Lokomotiv finished the first round of the RPL in seventh place, eight points behind the leading Krasnodar. The 35-year-old Dzyuba has played 17 matches for the Railwaymen this season, in which he scored four goals and made three assists. 18-year-old Pinyaev played 21 matches for the team, recording one goal and three assists.
