Real Madrid’s Luka Modric has reportedly met with Inter Miami club owner and former Madrid player David Beckham to discuss a possible move to MLS following the current season. Ex-Real star Predrag Mijatovic said this SER Chain.
Mijatovic said of Modric: “He has offers from the USA, from many teams and this particular one. Messi personally is very interested in the opportunity to play with him. In Croatia, Modric met Beckham for dinner a few days ago.”
Inter Miami signed Lionel Messi in the summer, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain had expired.
The working paper of 38-year-old Modric in Madrid also expires next summerso that he might leave the Royals for free.
Modric is no longer necessarily one of the regular players at Real. So far this season he has only played a total of 205 minutes in LaLiga.
