Lyudmila Samsonova won the Japan Open

Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova won the match with Chinese player Zheng Qinwen in the final of the Japan Open tournament. The match ended with the score 7:5, 7:5 in favor of Samsonova.

For Lyudmila Samsonova, this is the fourth victory in the tournament under the auspices of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). She is 23 years old, she is in 30th place in the WTA rankings. Her best Grand Slam result is reaching the fourth round of the US Open in 2022.
