18 hours of battery: manufacturer information realistic
Apple promises up to 18 hours of battery life with the new Macbook Air. There is an illuminated keyboard, a large, pressure-sensitive touchpad, modern wireless standards (Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0) and a finger scanner in the keyboard. The Macbook Air has two Thunderbolt 3 ports in USB-C design, a jack and the proprietary Magsafe charging port, where a magnet holds the charging contacts in position and releases them in the event of an abrupt pull before damage occurs.
