The choice of the candidate of BBY for the Presidential proves to be very complicated for President Macky Sall who comes up once morest a blockage in the face of the plethora of candidates (11) for the candidacy.
After allies of the presidential coalition flew to the aid of President Macky Sall to facilitate the choice of Benno’s candidate, RPA officials began mediation for a withdrawal of all candidacies.

The objective, according to L’Obs, is to put President Macky Sall at ease so that he can finally designate the future candidate of BBY. The mediators put forward the argument that all the others in the presidential movement have agreed to silence their ambitions and to give up a possible candidacy so as not to annoy President Macky Sall and complicate his task.
The 11 candidates who are all from the RPA were received between Wednesday and Thursday in the offices of Minister of State Mor Ngom, located in town behind the premises of the City of Dakar.
