Apple also released a new public beta of macOS Ventura to all volunteer testers tonight. This can now be downloaded and installed free of charge. All you have to do is sign up for Apple’s public beta program.
macOS Ventura Public Beta 6 largely corresponds to the eighth beta for the registered developers that Apple issued last night. As usual, the download can be initiated in the system settings under software update.
macOS Ventura will be available to all users in October
Apple will release the final version of macOS Ventura to all users in October. The new version brings the well-known innovations from Mail, Safari and Messages from iOS 16 to the Mac.
The new system urgently needs the additional time in development. According to reports from testers and developers, Ventura is still plagued by all sorts of problems. Hopefully these will be fixed by the final release.
