[Made In Korea] ‘4Max’ leading the popularization of lighting

When we think of camera lighting, we think of 4max, so 4max is a familiar name not only for professionals but also for amateurs. We met with officials from Formax, who are trying to popularize lighting by breaking the perception that lighting is difficult, diversifying product lines so that anyone can use lighting, and opening lectures on how to use lighting.

Established in 1992, Formax is a company that specializes in lighting and lighting-related accessories from the beginning until now. Although it is known that most products are imported and distributed, they have their own development team to develop and produce products, and all major products are produced in Korea.

Formax enhances product accessibility through a reasonable price policy, and enhances convenience by composing product specifications with essential functions. The assembly, installation, and operation of the lighting is easy and convenient, and it is made to be intuitive to use.

Recently, we are focusing on the development of lighting for video and LED lighting. In particular, at the 2016 P&I exhibition, flexible LED lighting that is light and flexible was introduced and attracted attention. If the color temperature of general lighting is set at 5500k, the color temperature of this product can be adjusted from 3200 to 5500k, so more detailed expression is possible.

Formax lighting is currently being exported to Europe, South America and Russia, as well as Japan, Taiwan, and Australia, and plans to focus on developing new video and LED products in the future.

Meanwhile, Aving News, a global news network, is carrying out the Made in Korea (MIK) project to promote Korean products abroad. The ‘MIK Conference & Networking Party’ for companies, startups, institutions, and investors will be held on July 14 (Thursday) at the Hyatt Hotel Grand Ballroom with about 1,000 people.
