The announcement came in a video clip, and stars such as Jack Black, Dido, Meg Stalter, and Judd Apatow appeared in the clip.
The five-minute video recreates a scene from the hugely successful 1991 documentary “Truth or Dare”.
“I can’t wait to explore as many songs as possible in hopes of giving fans the show they’ve been waiting for,” the international artist said in a statement.
The 35-city tour is scheduled to kick off in Vancouver, Canada, on July 15, before Madonna visits several cities in North America, the United Kingdom and Europe, including Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm.
