“And I couldn’t stand it and I came to see the kids,” he wrote through his Instagram stories while they could all be seen together during a Kapanga rehearsal. In addition, he shared a video where he could be seen playing with his colleagues, and helping Gastón Pato Sloomant, the guitarist who will replace him until he recovers, to use the pedals according to the song that was coming.
A few weeks ago the musician had uploaded a video announcing his temporary retirement and also saying that he was going to be replaced for the band’s next shows. In the audiovisual that he shared, he spoke to his audience and honestly told them what was going through his head and his heart.
“Sorry, I’m mobilized. “I have a fairly delicate illness, which is going to keep me away from the stage for a while to heal,” the Kapanga guitarist began by saying, excited about what was happening to him. Besides. He added: “It’s going to be super difficult for me. “We are all super hit, but the important thing is health.”

Finally, he addressed the fans with a very special message: “I am going to ask you a very big favor. More than ever, support my band, Kapanga. It’s the only favor I ask of you, support my colleagues. Good luck and see you later,” Maikel concluded excitedly and with his eyes full of tears.
