Dubai, October 19 / WAM / The Watani Al Emarat Foundation launched the activities of the fourth session of the “Emirati National Identity Ambassadors” programme, which aims to consolidate national identity and enhance respect for the constitution and the values of Emirati society.
The activities of this program, which include many lectures, sessions and workshops presented and chaired by academics and specialists, will be held at the Ajman Creative Center and will continue until October 29.
The program seeks to empower 50 young men and women who are members of institutional youth councils in the Emirate of Ajman and the neighboring emirates. The program also includes participants from employees of government departments and institutions and the private sector in the Emirate of Ajman.
The “Emirati National Identity Ambassadors” program focuses on national pillars that emphasize the importance of strengthening national identity in the hearts of young people. It is mainly concerned with promoting and disseminating the concepts of national belonging and loyalty, improving the ability of Emirati youth and protecting them from all threats, whether related to linguistic identity or the values of good citizenship, in addition to promoting good and moral values. Emirati citizenship that is in line with digital citizenship and its consolidation in a way that contributes to creating a good reputation for society and the nation.
The program also seeks to support and empower young people in decision-making processes and increase their awareness of their pivotal role in advancing social progress.

The diverse and comprehensive curriculum of the “Emirati National Identity Ambassadors” program covers a wide range of topics including the Arabic language, legal basics, authentic customs and values, legislation and laws, heritage and history, in addition to practical skills such as presentation, delivery, protocols, heritage documentation and research. The launch of the program represents a turning point in our endeavor to raise awareness of national identity and encourage positive interaction between young people with their community and their rich historical heritage.
