Maize subsidies – applications until February 29, district offices open longer – Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture

Documents from corn producers affected by the difficult situation in connection with restrictions on the agricultural market caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine are accepted by ARiMR district offices until February 29, 2024. In order to efficiently process all applications, the opening hours of district offices have been extended for the recruitment period. We invite you:

  • on working days from February 22 to February 28, 2024, from 07:00 to 18:00;
  • on the last day of recruitment, i.e. February 29, 2024, from 07:00 to 22:00 or until the last applicant;
  • also on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Financial assistance is addressed to farmers growing corn who are at risk of losing financial liquidity due to restrictions on the agricultural market caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The condition for receiving aid is meeting the criteria of a micro, small or medium-sized enterprise and submitting an application for direct subsidies for the previous year in which corn was cultivated. The regulations do not require documents confirming the sale of corn to be attached to the application.

The program budget is PLN 1 billion. The amount of aid will be calculated as the product of the area of ​​corn cultivation (excluding maize for silage) of no more than 100 ha declared in the application for direct payments for 2023 and the aid rate of:

  • PLN 1,000 for the Lublin and Podkarpackie voivodeships;
  • PLN 700 for the Lesser Poland, Masovian, Świętokrzyskie and Podlaskie voivodeships;
  • PLN 500 for the Lower Silesian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Lubusz, Łódź, Opole, Pomeranian, Silesian, Warmian-Masurian, Greater Poland and West Pomeranian voivodeships.

If the amount of aid resulting from the submitted applications exceeds the pool of funds intended for co-financing, then a correction coefficient will be applied to calculate the aid.

Applications can be submitted directly to the district offices, by post (e.g. via Poczta Polska) or via the ePUAP platform or using the mObywatel service on the gov.pl website.
