The Bulgarian driver of the truck where the drugs were found was arrested late Friday.
Belgian police discovered nearly 700 kg of cocaine in the back of a truck stopped at a motorway rest area near Antwerp, the port city’s prosecutor’s office announced on Sunday. The Bulgarian driver of the truck, aged 46, was arrested and taken into custody following the seizure made late Friday.
