A lightning strike caused major delays at Montreal-Trudeau airport on Sunday evening.
Many departures and arrivals have been pushed back, some by as little as 30 minutes but others by several hours.
On Twitter(X), the Montreal airport indicated that its operations were “disrupted” due to the weather.
“Flight times and baggage delivery are affected,” the airport said.

As of 9 p.m., Environment Canada reported no storm warnings in effect for Montreal.
