The French beer La Bête intends to introduce a new experience through a new cocktail. If beer is its figurehead, it is, this time, with a spicy sauce that the brewers have teamed up with: La Bite. Designed to accompany the La Bête range, this spicy one was born from a desire to create a tasting ritual that reflects the aesthetics of these beers. We tasted this cocktail: it’s hard (a little), but above all, it’s surprising!
A WHOLE RITUAL
Behind the counter, the waiter places a red sauce on a receptacle sculpted by flames in the shape of teeth. Like Michelada – the Mexican drink – he deposits the hot sauce all around the glass. The hot sauce, specially designed for this ritual, and the beer, whose hops are revived, are thus mixed.
Heat and freshness come together to create an amazing taste sensation! A spicy sauce that reveals the character of this incomparable blond beer. It’s a new tour de force for La Bête beer, born in 2008, in the north of France, which once again plays the game of contrasts, with this cocktail La Bite.
