Two Brazilian Legionnaires “Zenith” receive Russian citizenship.
Midfielders Malcolm and Claudinho began the process of obtaining Russian passports, according to insider Ivan Karpov.
The purpose of this procedure is that the players might spend less on taxes in Russia. Also thanks to this, Zenit hopes to show itself favorably in front of other Latin American players.
Neither the 25-year-old Malcolm nor his peer Claudinho played for the main Brazilian national team. At the same time, both played for the country’s Olympic team and became champions at the 2020 Olympics in its composition.
