Mammootty’s Bhishma Parvam smashes the box office; Yash and Mammootty head to head
Bhishma Parva and Telugu movie KGF Chapter 2 are the highest grossing films in Kerala in 2022. The figures have been released by movie trackers Friday Matani. KGF Chapter 2 is the highest grossing movie. The film earned 68.50 crores in Kerala alone.
At the same time, Mammootty’s Bhishma Parvam won the highest grossing Malayalam film in Kerala. Bhishma Parvam earned Rs 47.10 crore from Kerala. The movie hit the theaters on March 3, 2022. Even the film and its songs and dialogues created waves on social media.
The dialogue ‘Champico’ spoken by Mammootty’s character Michaelappa in the film also went viral. Even politicians took it up on social media. The film created waves at the box office from the day of its release and entered the 100 crore club.
Shine Tom Chacko, Soubin Shahir, Farhan Fazil, Nadia Moitu, Lena, Srinath Bhasi and many other stars were present in Bhishma Parva. The movie was directed by Amal Neerad. After its theatrical release, the movie also hit Disney Plus Hot Star.
Meanwhile, Yash starrer Prashant Neel’s film KGF 2 has got two thousand crores in global release. Before this, the films RRR, Dangal and Baahubali The Conclusion crossed the thousand crore mark.
Ramesh Bala, a film trade analyst, shared the information that the KGF chapter has crossed 2 thousand crores.
Apart from KGF Chapter 2 Kannada, the movie will also be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. The film was released in Kerala by Prithviraj Productions.
