Jagadish revealed that Mohanlal had given him financial support during the 2016 assembly elections, but Mammootty had not given any financial support. Jagadish contested the election against Ganesh Kumar. Mohanlal had also campaigned for Ganesh. However, Jagadish said that he has no quarrel with Mohanlal in this matter and there is no need to mix personal matters with politics.
‘I know why Mohanlal campaigned for Ganesh. It is known that Mohanlal did not stand for Ganesh out of love for him or out of dislike for him. Mohanlal is the one who gave money to him for campaigning even though he did not collect during the election. Mohanlal must have wanted him to win then. However, Mammootty has not given any financial assistance.’ Jagadish revealed.
