Man charged with first degree murder of Max Boudreau

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirms that Max Boudreau, the 24-year-old man who had been missing for more than a week in Moncton, New Brunswick, has been found dead. Justin Barrow, 42, is charged with first degree murder in connection with the case.

Justin Barrow will remain behind bars until his next court appearance on Dec. 12 at 11 a.m.

Max Boudreau had not been seen since November 15when he left a bar on Champlain Street in Dieppe, around 3 a.m.

Human remains found

Police confirmed Tuesday morning that human remains were found in a wooded area on Paris Boulevard in Irishtown, near Moncton. Codiac RCMP say they have concluded that it was the 24-year-old man who was missing.

Max Boudreau’s death is considered suspicious and the police are treating the case as a homicide.

The Major Crimes Unit of the GRC in New Brunswick is continuing the investigation.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
