The victim fell after being shot in the Los Pocitos neighborhood of the city of Barquisimeto.
With a shot to the head, officials from the Criminal, Scientific, Criminal and Investigative Corps (Cicpc) found the body of a 31-year-old man, who was murdered after allegedly having a fight with another individual.
The victim was identified as Darwin José Suárez Gil, who was badly injured after the bullet impact and died shortly after.
The homicide occurred in the Los Pocitos neighborhood, in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara state. Witnesses witnessed the moment that the subject died after the shot, despite the fact that they later tried to help him.
A commission from the Cicpc Homicide Axis found the body shortly after and arranged for it to be transferred to the morgue of the Antonio María Pineda Central Hospital, where an autopsy was performed.
Security forces are still investigating, since the murderer has not been captured at the moment.
