The Manchester United team regained the tone of victories in the English Premier League, and beat its guest Brighton 2-0 in a postponed match from the eighteenth stage.
Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo advanced with a goal for Manchester in the 51st minute after a break of individual skills before hitting a powerful ball with his right foot that knew its way into the opponent’s net.
Brighton’s efforts to equalize were subjected to a strong shock after the expulsion of Louis Dunk after he obstructed Anthony Ilanga.
