Manchester United’s holiday schedule has been announced by the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag’s team has received details of its program for the rest of the year and the start of 2024.
December begins with a trip to Newcastle United, already confirmed for a 20:00 GMT kick-off on the 2nd of the month. A small change has been made to our home match against Chelsea on Wednesday December 6, which will now kick off at 8:15 p.m. GMT. The match against the Blues will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.
Our encounter at Old Trafford against Bournemouth remains at 3:00 p.m. GMT on Saturday, December 9, and will not be broadcast live in the UK.
What is the progress of Group A?
After our last Champions League Group A match, against Bayern Munich, there will be a spectacular match against Liverpool on Merseyside. The Anfield match has been moved to Sunday December 17 and will be shown live on Sky Sports at 4:30 p.m. GMT.
The Reds’ pre-Christmas match will take place at West Ham United and will be shown live on TNT Sports. The match at the London Stadium will take place on September 23 at lunchtime (12:30 GMT).
Although we are playing on Boxing Day, our home game against Aston Villa has been moved to 20:00 GMT, and Amazon Prime Video will be showing it from Old Trafford.
United’s final match of 2023 will be at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground, with Sky Sports showing the match at 5:30 p.m. GMT.
The Emirates FA Cup third round will represent our first outing of 2024, with opponents yet to be named, but we now know the date for the home game against Tottenham Hotspur. The match against Spurs will take place on January 14, live on Sky Sports, at 4:30 p.m. GMT.
This means that the winter break will take place the following weekend.
The Premier League said players had more time to recover during the three festive days and that no club would play within 60 hours of another match.
The broadcast choices for the 22nd day, during which OM will face Wolves at Molineux, will be published during the February program update.
