Kentucky Derby (G1) to be held at Churchill Downs in the United States (starting at 18:57 on Saturday, May 6, starting at 7:57 in Japan time on Sunday, May 7) has been announced. We are pleased to announce that Tokyo City Horse Racing (TCK)’s Mandarin Hero (3rd male, Terunobu Fujita Kyusha) became No. 22 (second substitute) in combination with jockey Kazushi Kimura.
In addition, the full gate is 20 horses, and if horses No. 1 to 20 are canceled, horses from No. 21 (first substitute) will be moved up in order, and the deadline for moving up will be May 5, Japan time. (Friday/holiday) Final runners will be confirmed at 22:00.
