Manuel Neuer cannot start team training with Bayern next week as planned.

Manuel Neuer apparently has to adjust his comeback plans. Like the TV station Sky reported, the German, who has been on a break since December, will not take part in Bayern Munich’s team training session, which begins next week, as planned.
Bayern travel to the training camp at Tegernsee next Saturday. It is very likely that Neuer will then train individually.

New tests should provide information about the condition of the 37-year-old next week. In May, the keeper completed some exercises again for the first time. At the start of the new Bundesliga season, Neuer wanted to be number 1 in the Munich goal again.
If Neuer does not get fit in time for the start of the season on August 18th, this could also have consequences for the future of Neuer’s representative Yann Sommer. The Swiss national goalie should not be satisfied with the role of substitute goalkeeper, especially with a view to the EM 2024. A change in this transfer window therefore seems very likely – if Neuer is ready to play again.
