Many Quebec citizens have responded to Quebec Health’s call encouraging them to renew their vaccination protection once morest COVID-19 and influenza.

In a Montreal center, everyone had personal reasons motivating their decision.

“Every weekend I go to see my 75-year-old grandfather,” explained a young woman.

“I am a secondary school teacher, and I find that it is important to protect my students, as well as myself,” said one man.

Nearly 600,000 Quebecers have already made an appointment.

“We hope that all this vaccination will reduce hospitalizations,” said a nurse.

Downside: pharmacies received fewer doses of COVID-19 vaccines than expected.

Nearly 11,000 vaccination appointments had to be canceled across the province due to these supply problems.
