A road accident took place this Sunday around 1 p.m., in Marcinelle (Charleroi). According to our correspondent, a bus, a van and a car were involved in the accident which caused several serious injuries. The events took place at the intersection between avenue Eugène Mascaux and rue de l’orphanat. According to initial findings, the van was going down the street and, when giving way, collided with a TEC bus going to Jamioulx prison. Hit with violence, the van ended up in a parked vehicle.
The accident left people injured, some of them seriously: 4 passengers of the bus and the driver of the van. Numerous emergency vehicles were on site this Sunday followingnoon. The road must have been blocked.
