The leader of Vente Venezuela criticized the role of the opposition in recent days.
The presidential candidate of Vente Venezuela, María Corina Machado, affirmed that “there is a real opportunity to achieve change” in the country.
The opposition leader said that in 2023 everything is ready to take over and complete the task. “These struggles have been forging us for these moments. The illusions, the disappointments, the falls and the rises have been preparing us, like no previous generation, to take over ”, she maintained.
The national coordinator of Vente called on Venezuelans, inside and outside the country, to assume “disappointments, mistakes and betrayals” as a preparation for what is to come, and called on them to be an active part of the fight for freedom, starting with the necessary renewal of the opposition political leadership.
“Today I want us to make a commitment together. I am doing everything in my power so that you can freely choose this new leadership, but I need and it is essential that you can do it too, that we do it together”, she expressed.
According to the leader, in order to dismantle the government of Nicolás Maduro it is necessary to first displace a “false opposition” which he described as the “defeated”. And she assured: “The gruesome shows that are giving from side to side, even if they disgust us, cannot paralyze us, quite the contrary,” she maintained.
In this sense, he called on Venezuelans to combat the campaign of demoralization, organize and contact Vente Venezuela to join in the tasks where they can be useful and demand manual voting in the next opposition primaries.
On the other hand, Machado urged Venezuelans outside the country to fight the lie that “Venezuela has fixed itself”, to contact all the Venezuelans they know in the cities where they are to create networks of information and pressure, and to write to the National Commission of Primaries to demand their right to vote abroad.

In the video, María Corina Machado refers to 2024 as a “real opportunity” to realize the change that Venezuelans have been waiting for and working on for years, and asserts that it cannot be missed.
“It’s there, it’s real, it’s just around the corner, but no one sucks their thumb here. We have been denouncing all the frauds of the regime for many years, therefore we know what we have to do and we need you, ”he said.
The opposition leader expressed hope for the reality that Venezuelans can build, thanks to the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual preparation that so many years of struggle have entailed.
Finally, María Corina Machado pointed out that there are two opposing visions of Venezuela: that of those who want to keep the country in the dark, repeating that “this is what it is” and strengthening a makeup of opulence, as well as a scenario of commissions and distribution ; and that of those who want real change.
He closed by saying that it is necessary to exercise citizenship responsibly: “We cannot expect others to do our part.”
