The opposition presidential candidate, María Corina Machado, participated this Saturday in the 78th anniversary event of the Copei party and assured that at this time the country needs an honest way of doing politics with “truth.”

During his speech, after congratulating the leaders of the green awning, Machado highlighted that “today more than ever is the time to demonstrate what those values are that define us.”
He also highlighted that it is time for everyone to work together for the same purpose, which is the “transformation” of Venezuela.
In response to what was said by the leader of Vente Venezuela, the president of Copei, Roberto Enriquez affirmed that his political party will be a pillar “for change for the challenges that come,” and stressed that they can count on their militants as one of the “backbones to achieve that change in 2024.”
For his part, the general secretary of the party, Robert García, asserted that the green awning is ready to work hand in hand with Machado to achieve victory in the presidential elections scheduled for this year.
