It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helena Mansinho. Helena was born on the beautiful island of Sao Miguel, Açores, Portugal, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 3rd, 2022, in Vancouver, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jose, and her daughter-in-law, Susan.
Helena was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Helena will be lovingly remembered by her children, Anna (Armando) and John, her grandchildren, Mandy (Michael), Brandon (Judy), Michelle, and Bryan. Spending time with her great-grandchildren, Isla, Nina, and Sophie brought her much joy. She cherished her family and will be greatly missed.
The Prayers and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022, at Our Lady Of Fatima (1423 E. 13th Ave., Vancouver) at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park. Helena had a great natural affinity with children; therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Children’s Hospital.
