Marvel’s Spider-Man for PC debuted on Steam with a peak of 60,000 concurrent players, the second highest for a game developed by PlayStation Studios.
Also available on PC as of yesterday, Marvel’s Spider-Man fell short of Sony’s current production record set by God of War with 73,529 players, but surpassed Horizon Zero Dawn with 56,557 players.
Of course, the release period certainly benefited the adventure of Kratos and Atreus, which debuted on the PC platform in the much more gaming-friendly month of January, while Marvel’s Spider-Man had to contend with a hot August.
