Four days after the elections in Vaca Muerta, this Thursday, April 20, the IDEA Energy 2023 Experience will take place in Neuquén, an event aimed at resume the opportunities of the international context and their possible use with the energy transition. The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, the Secretary of Energy, Flavia Royón and the CEOs of the main oil companies will participate.
Energy security once again rested on the table after the invasion of Russia with Ukraine began. After elections that left many questions regarding the development of Vaca Muerta, the Experiencia IDEA event summons national authorities to address this opportunity. Among them, will participate the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, who will resume the view of the national government. On the other hand, the Secretary of Energy, Flavia Royón, will give the present to address public policies for the energy sector.
In addition, there will be panels dedicated to dealing the geopolitical perspective on energy security; the macroeconomic impact of the industry in the country; regional integration and opportunities for Argentina; YPF’s role in pursuit of these objectives; the opportunity for oil and gas in the country through Vaca Muerta and the conventional one; the infrastructure; renewables; lithium and hydrogen; and biofuels.
of these panels numerous CEOs of the main companies in the industry will participate such as Marcos Bulgheroni from Pan American Energy (PAE); Ricardo Markous from Tecpetrol and Ricardo Rodríguez from Shell Argentina, among others. The executive director of IDEA, Daniel González will open the event after 8:30. It will end in the afternoon and will not be accessible to the public.
