At least seven people died this Saturday at the hands of an armed gang in an attack perpetrated against the members of a march called by a Christian pastor, an event in which more than ten demonstrators were injured and many others were kidnapped.
The attack took place in Canaán, north of the capital, an area fully controlled by a powerful armed group led by Jeff, who routinely challenges the National Police.
According to information circulating in the local press, at the end of the protest, members of the armed gang opened fire on the demonstrators, followers of a pastor named Marcko who intends to put an end to the gangs that terrorize the population.
Several hundred people took part in the protest that started from the church led by Marcko, some wearing T-shirts belonging to the congregation and carrying machetes or sticks in their hands, weapons that could not protect them from the gangs they were demonstrating against.
