Massive London Protest Demands End to Gaza War and Support for Palestinians

About 100,000 people demonstrated in London on Saturday followingnoon to demand “an end to the war in Gaza” and to support the Palestinians, following two weeks of continued Israeli aggression once morest Gaza.

Thousands of demonstrators came in small groups or families to Marble Arch Square in the center of the British capital, disrupting car and bus traffic on all nearby main roads.

The participants in the procession, which set off towards Whitehall, the street leading to Downin Street, chanted “Free Palestine,” carrying dozens of Palestinian flags and banners that read, “Gaza: Stop the Massacre” and “Stop the Occupation.”

The London Police said on the “X” website (formerly Twitter) that around two o’clock in the followingnoon, the march included regarding 100,000 people.

Similar to last week, strict security measures were taken, with a thousand police officers deployed in the streets and a helicopter flying over the demonstration.
