This was an unusual Sunday in Masterchef Celebrity. The contest took a break from the elimination galas to deliver an evening that concluded with the return of two participants. Thus, among all those eliminated there were two players who stood out as the best dishes and who are – again – in the race. Among those who aspired to victory were Juariu, the “Tigress” Acuña, the “Negro” Enrique, Tití Fernández, Denise Dumas, Charlotte Caniggia Y Gastón Ceilings.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. Santiago del Moro began the broadcast of the reality show, and gave the floor to the juries. The first to speak was Damien Betular, who shared the slogan of the first challenge: “They are going to have to scratch a carrot in the least amount of time possible.” The winner of the test was the “Tigress”.
After that initial instance, the driver announced a second challenge, and proceeded to give all the participants a red bag, which contained a puzzle inside. Donato de Santis He explained that it was “a test of speed and concentration”, and Betular added that they should put it together “in the shortest possible time.” Then, German Martitegui He completed: “The benefit of this mini test can bring you closer to winning.” In that instance, Juariu was revealed as the winner.
After that, he entered the scene Mecha Solis, a chef who was head of kitchen in a restaurant in Martitegui. The slogan of the night was to replicate one of his favorite recipes: a Caribbean cake. And about the test, Donato explained: “We are going to ask them to add one more fruit so that each one can give it their personal touch.” The benefit that Juariu and Acuña agreed to was having three minutes with the expert to ask her all the questions they wanted about the preparation.
After a lot of stress, numerous accidents and all kinds of complexities in the preparations, the contestants finished (or attempted to finish) their Caribbean cakes. The first to come forward was Juariu, who added passion fruit and lemon zest to the recipe. When tasting it, Martitegui noticed that the flavor was “quite good” and applauded the fact that it managed to “add personality to it.”
When his turn came, Gastón Soffritti brought a plate that looked very undone, and Betular assured: “I love the cake. Aesthetically it is destroyed, but the cut looked good on you ”.
La Tigresa Acuña added papaya and cinnamon to her cake. In view of this, the return was very positive, and Martitegui said: “The papaya was perfect, and it was risky. The cinnamon is very original and it turned out very well, but there is a question of form ”.
Next, Denise Dumas, who couldn’t help breaking the lid when finishing her cake, received an unexpected compliment from Martitegui: “In this fight, there is flavor and aesthetics. The taste is very good ”.
Then, it was time for Tití Fernández, who also opted for papaya. However, the jury was not completely enthusiastic about the result and highlighted that there was a problem “in the construction”.
In his turn, the “Negro” Enrique could not satisfy the specialists either, who detected numerous problems, including the volume.
The round was finished by Charlotte. And Martitegui stressed that, although she “cooks rich, the problem is when she must replicate a dish.” “The filling is not ugly, but it is strange, a little liquid,” added Betular.
After intense deliberation, it was time to announce who were the participants who were returning to the gala; and with a lot of emotion, finally the chosen ones were Juariu and Denise Dumas.
