“Crime does not distinguish anyone” is once again a current phrase in Mexican entertainment, after actress Susana Zabaleta reported on social networks that her son, Matías Gruener, was robbed at gunpoint along with a group of friends the night on February 9 in the San Juan neighborhood of Mexico City.

The details of the assault were shared by the young man, through a video where he appears with his mother and in the background you can see the recording of a video surveillance camera that recorded the incident:

“There were two kids on a motorcycle, they got off, they took a gun from us, they put it on our backs and goodbye cell phones. They hit one of my friends because they asked us to unlock the phones, he got very nervous and they started hitting him,” he said.

Gruener, who has followed in Susana Zabaleta’s footsteps in acting, shared that the traumatic experience of the assault was followed by a complicated process at the Public Ministry, where at no time did he feel supported by the staff:

“All the people who were there passed by and it was 12:30 at night… It’s horrible that you arrive at the place waiting for the people who are going to support you and instead of saying: ‘Don’t worry, we’ll solve it here,’ as what the police did…Just be careful, don’t go unreported, even though sometimes it’s horrible,” he explained.

The actress supported her son throughout the process and warned about theft Instagram: @matiasgruenerzz

After the public complaint went viral on social networks, the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City tried to contact the actress through direct message, so that staff from this Secretariat can contact you. Thank you,” was the brief message from the agency.

In his video, Gruener stated that, despite the treatment of the Public Ministry personnel, he did file his complaint against the people who were responsible, so it is presumed that the agency would look for him and his mother to follow up on the case and delve deeper. in the work of the officials who attended to the young man on the night of February 9.

As in other cases in which agencies use networks to try to communicate with celebrities who have publicly reported a crime, the tweet from the SSC CDMX divided comments into X. Several Internet users criticized the promptness with which the agency spoke out about the incident. : “What it’s like to be in the middle of the show, screw us mortals”, “Out with any tweeter you put the contact numbers here”, the tweet reads.

Susana Zabaleta was married to film director Daniel Gruener, from whom she separated in 2015 after 23 years of relationship and 17 years of marriage. During that time they had two children: Elisabetha and Matías. The singer gave birth to her first child at the age of 37.

Shortly after, the couple announced the adoption of Matías. In 2015, amid speculation surrounding their marriage, the actress and the filmmaker announced their breakup on good terms.

In February 2023, Susana Zabaleta gave details of her relationship with her ex-husband during the podcast In Self-Defense by Cora Nelda González: “They were 23 wonderful years and now we have two incredible children. We are very happy, our life is great. When there is a problem we see each other and he keeps saying ‘Cacho’ or ‘Chachito’. It was inconceivable to me that he said ‘well, I’m leaving’. We agreed that a lot of things were going to happen and that you were going to be there. It has shown me that it is there, still separated. “It was very difficult for me to no longer live with him,” the singer shared.
