Matthew Perry (✝54) fought his demons. The actor had had serious drug and alcohol problems for many years. The Friends star finally died in October – the cause of death was given as “acute effects of ketamine”. How hard his battle with addiction was during his lifetime is becoming increasingly clear. This is revealed by his ex-partner Kayti Edwards, who Matthew was with over 15 years ago. She recalled one incident to The Sun: “I found Matthew on the couch with his hands glued to his legs – it was incredibly sad. We were literally ripping his hair off his legs and he was left with red, raw marks, it was “Pretty terrible!” Her partner at the time had previously gotten drunk.
