May Ramadan bring us closer to a just peace

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his wish that during the month of Ramadan we would become closer to a just peace.

“Now begins the holy month of Ramadan for the Muslims of Ukraine and the world. And this year, Ramadan, unfortunately, is overshadowed by war and unrelenting suffering. Let us become closer to an honest and just peace during this month,” he said in video messages on Sunday.

“Not only for Ukraine, but for all peoples who are currently suffering from the war,” he emphasized.

“It is within the power of humanity to achieve such unity that justice protects life from wars. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine and Ukrainians! Thank you to everyone who protects life and justice! Ramadan Mubarak! Glory to Ukraine!” – he concluded he.
