SEATTLE (AP) — Christian McCaffrey rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the first half and the San Francisco 49ers went into halftime with a 21-point lead before defeating the Seattle Seahawks 31-13 on Thursday.

The 49ers (8-3) won their fourth straight game against their division opponents and took a two-game lead over Seattle in the NFC West.

San Francisco won its third game in a row, after a three-game losing streak, and recorded its tenth victory against a team from the National West.

McCaffrey had an outstanding performance. He avoided takedowns and turned his advances into several big plays.

He escaped to the end zone on carries of eight and one yard, so that the 49ers went into halftime with a 24-3 lead.

Deebo Samuel also ran a couple of yards to the goal zone on San Francisco’s first possession, and Brock Purdy had a near-perfect performance in the first half, completing 15 of 20 passes.

Purdy had a pass intercepted and returned for a touchdown early in the third quarter. However, he avoided any more mistakes and secured the win with a 28-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Aiyuk with 7:51 left.

Following this, several Seattle fans began leaving the stadium on Thanksgiving Day.
