Medications to Avoid for Weak Heart Muscle: Insights from Cardiology Consultant, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr

Al-Marsad newspaper: Cardiology and arterial catheterization consultant, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, revealed a list of medications that patients with weak heart muscle should stay away from as much as possible.

He explained during a tweet posted on his official Twitter account that the list of medications is: –

1.- Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen, indomethacin, etc.)

2. Some pulse regulators: verapamil, diltiazem.

3. Some diabetes medications, such as Actos

4. Some electrolyte medications, such as flecainide.

Patients with weak heart muscle should stay away from the following list of medications as much as possible:
