RIO CUARTO- Within the framework of the agreement signed between the mayor Juan Manuel Llamosas and the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Rogelio Pizzi, a meeting was held to advance actions aimed at the students of that academic unit developing this practice in dispensaries and Health centers dependent on the Municipality of Río Cuarto.
The director of the Final Practice of Medicine Ana Antuña participated in this meeting.
This was reported by the Secretary of Health and Social Development Marcelo Ferrario who explained that it is sought that “the young people of Río Cuarto and the area that they attend in Córdoba can carry out these practices in the health facilities of this Secretariat.”
Ferrario also explained that “some clinics in the city already carry out their practices in the Kowalk maternity hospital and the Hospital, especially due to the number of births in the maternity, which averages around 130 per month.”
“With this agreement we open the offer so that more medical students can stay in these places,” added Ferrario.
It was also specified that the agreement contemplates the training and continuous education of the graduate, “we are analyzing the offers that the graduate school has that the medical school has, whether they are bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, master’s degrees or doctorates,” added the Secretary of Health.
