New drop in fuel prices in Morocco | Atalayar

The selling price of several fuels has dropped in Afriquia stations in Casablanca. A liter of diesel now amounts to approximately 1.4 euros (14.89 DH), thus registering a drop of 64 cents per liter, while gasoline has fallen by around eleven cents (1.18 DH) for set at 1.46 euros (15.43 DH) per litre.

But not all service stations have recorded this drop in the price of their fuels, unlike Afriquia, the other distributors who supply the Casablanca region with fuel have maintained their values, even if these will be equalized in the coming days.

The main reason for this drop in prices is the fall in the price of oil on the international market for two weeks, a barrel of Brent North Sea crude trading on Saturday at $104, while a barrel of US West Texas crude was at $98.30, much lower than just a month ago.
