Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg (ÖVP) receives his German-speaking counterparts in Salzburg on Thursday. Annalena Baerbock from Germany, Dominique Hasler from Liechtenstein, Jean Asselborn from Luxembourg and Ignazio Cassis from Switzerland will be present at the working discussion in the Great Festival Hall.
According to the Austrian Foreign Ministry, in addition to Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine and Europe’s position in the global showdown, the exchange will also focus on strengthening Europe’s cohesion, including in connection with the EU expansion plans in the Western Balkans and with regard to EU-Switzerland relations stand.
